Embossed Business Cards, in short.
Embossing raises a logo out of the card; debossing presses it in. On thick cotton paper both leave a clean edge you can feel, with or without ink.

Make it yours.
Your file, by the numbers.
- PDF, AI, EPS or SVG work best; we check any file you send.
- In the designer, choose Emboss or Deboss for any text, line or shape. An object can be one or the other, not both.
- A custom size: set the file to your size plus 0.125 in (3 mm) of bleed on every edge.
- Draw square corners; we cut rounded ones.
- Bleed area
Make sure your background and any photos extend to fill the bleed, 3 mm (0.125 in) past the trim on every side, so there are no white edges after cutting.
- Trim
This is where we aim to cut. The trim size is the finished size.
- Safe area
Keep anything important, such as text and logos, inside the safe area, 3 mm (0.125 in) in from the trim; otherwise it may be cut off.TBC

Embossed Business Cards, explained.
What to know before you order.
Which cards can be embossed or debossed?
Letterpress Business Cards.
How is embossing priced?
By side: each side is one price, however many areas it covers. Both sides cost twice one side. The price per card falls as the quantity goes up.
How long does it take?
Cards with embossing take 5–7 business days to make, plus shipping.
What is the difference between emboss and deboss?
Embossing raises the design out of the card, so its back shows the matching recess. Debossing presses it in from the front.
Will you check my design before printing?
Yes. We check every file before it’s printed. If something needs fixing, we contact you before we print.
Can I order different papers or sizes together?
Add them as separate items; each design in one item shares the same options.
