Make it yours.

Your file, by the numbers.

  • PDF, AI, EPS or SVG work best; we check any file you send.
  • A custom size: set the file to your size plus 3 mm (0.125 in) of bleed on every edge. There’s no template for it.
  • Draw square corners; we cut rounded ones.

Bleed areaTrimSafe area
  • Bleed area

Make sure your background and any photos extend to fill the bleed, 3 mm (0.125 in) past the trim on every side, so there are no white edges after cutting.

  • Trim

This is where we aim to cut. The trim size is the finished size.

  • Safe area

Keep anything important, such as text and logos, inside the safe area, 3 mm (0.125 in) in from the trim; otherwise it may be cut off.TBC

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

The finer details.

Good decisions start with clear information.

How long will my cards take?

Production takes 2–7 business days, depending on the thickness and finishes, and starts once we’ve checked your file. Then Express shipping takes 2–5 business days and Standard takes 7–12. You choose shipping at checkout.

Will I pay duties?

No, with Express or Standard. We ship duties paid (DDP): customs duties and taxes are on us, so there’s nothing more to pay when your parcel arrives. See shipping & duties.

How do I add my design?

After you choose your card, there are three ways: start from a blank card in our designer, pick a template and make it yours, or upload your own file. Prefer help? Our designers can design it with you.

Which files can I upload?

PDF, AI, EPS, SVG. At 300 dpi with 3 mm (0.125 in) of bleed on every edge, the file is 1125 × 675 px for 3.5 × 2 in and 843 × 843 px for 2.56 × 2.56 in. For a custom size, make the file your size plus the same bleed.

Can I order a custom size?

Yes. From 0.71 × 0.71 in to 3.54 × 2.13 in (18 × 18 mm to 90 × 54 mm), either way round. It costs the same as a standard 3.5 × 2 in card, finishes included. Custom sizes are printed from your own file: the online designer and templates make the standard and square cards.

Will you check my design before printing?

Yes. We check every file before it’s printed. If something needs fixing, we contact you before we print; if not, your cards go straight into production. There’s no proof for you to approve.

Why does 13pt start at 200 cards?

13pt cards are printed on shared press sheets with other orders, so they start at 200 and cost $18 for 200. Color can vary slightly from one batch to the next. 16pt and thicker are printed digitally, from 50 cards.

Can I print on both sides?

Yes. Full color on both sides is included in the price.

Can I write on these cards?

Yes. Fine papers are uncoated and take pen and pencil well. Pearl White has a pearl layer on top, so test it with a sample first.

Can I order different papers or sizes together?

Add them as separate items; each design in one item shares the same options.

More to print.
